Teatru Astra's light consultant in Malta Eurovision Song Contest

Ismael Portelli, Teatru Astra's light consultant has been entrusted to set the light plant and effects in Malta's popular Eurovision Song Contest.  Portelli's latest involvement at Teatru Astra was in 2011's Norma which opened the tenth edition of Festival Mediterranea. Enrico Stinchelli's artistic direction brought digital scenography for the first time to local opera productions, which was enthusiastically received by local and foreign audiences. The digital scenography for Norma was set by Ismael Portelli who was assisted by Teatru Astra resident light desinger George Zammit.
