This is more than a title. It is a tribute to the vision, resilience, and devotion of those who built enduring institutions, such as ours, and laid the foundations for the city’s rich artistic life.

Equally, it stands as a celebration of the immense dedication of hundreds of volunteers who, year after year, devote their time, energy, and passion to the cultivation of culture in all its forms.

This is what distinguishes Victoria from any other place.

It is now our collective duty to nurture this honour, whilst looking forward to continue enriching Malta’s calendar as the nation’s foremost cultural institution.
